NGO “International Cybersecurity University” and The State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation

Areas of cooperation between the parties:

️ Promoting the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of digital technology: 

  • creation of domestic legal and terminological base,
  • harmonization of regulations in the field of insurance against cyber incidents, electronic communications, information security, information and cyber security in accordance with international and EU and NATO standards,
  • ensuring the implementation of periodic certifications for compliance with qualification requirements.

️Promoting awareness, effective interaction and coordination in the field of digital transformations: 

  • ensuring cooperation and coordination on issues of sustainable development of cyberspace, digital transformations, cyber protection and cyber security of local governments, law enforcement agencies, research institutions, educational institutions, public associations, as well as enterprises, institutions and international organizations;
  • increase of digital literacy of citizens and culture of safe behavior in cyberspace, complex knowledge, skills and abilities, implementation of state and public projects to raise public awareness;
  • development of electronic communications infrastructure;
  • development of a network of response teams and computer emergency management experts;
  • raising awareness in the field of insurance against cyber incidents, information technology and cybersecurity, conducting relevant trainings, exercises;
  • developing and implementing a mechanism for the exchange of information between public authorities, the private sector and citizens on opportunities and threats to critical information infrastructure.

️ Organization of research work in the field of digital transformations:

  • research and development of new methods for implementing digital transformations;
  • development of requirements (rules, guidelines) for the safe use of the Internet and the provision of electronic services by government agencies;
  • development of qualification requirements for certain categories of employees taking into account current trends;
  • periodic review of industry indicators of the level of penetration of digital technologies;
  • development and implementation of protocols of joint actions, in particular information exchange in real time;
  • increasing the capacity of actors to implement digital transformations and counter cyberattacks;
  • advanced training of government officials.
