The new cyber year 2020 – turned on! And before we start talking about the intentions, plans, and projects of our new and ambitious NGO “ICU”, we decided to analyze what we managed to do for half a year in 2019, remember important events and achievements:

• Were signed 6 memoranda with government agencies and key players in the cyber industry: the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, the Department for Counterintelligence Protection of State Interests in the Field of Information Security of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Igor Sikorsky KPI, the National Aviation University, Cisco and ITIS. Now there are 2 more important memoranda under negotiation and legal approval.
• 3 donor conferences were held in the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
• The round table “Cybersecurity of the Energy Industry” was organized within the framework of the XVII International Forum “Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: Present and Future”.
• A Cyber Panel was held at the meeting of the Board of the Association “Airports of Ukraine” of Civil Aviation (AAUCA).
• The founder of NGO “ICU” Roman Boyarchuk took part in the meeting of ambassadors of the Committee on policy and security of the EU member states, dedicated to countering cyber threats in Ukraine, and the international conference “Exchange 19” in New York.
• At the end of the year, the ICU Directorate was invited to a hearing of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Digital Transformation.

Whether this is a lot or not for 6 months of activity – time will tell, but we are sure that we are on the right way. All safe 2020! And we will contribute to the development of national security as much as possible.
